The Power of Praying For Others

I wrote this poem because I know how satan comes in strong when we belong to God,trying to destroy us by his lies.I also believe that when we pray for one another,it is powerful.God is our power & that power comes through our prayers.

If your walking for God,
You better watch out
For when you are on fire,
He'll try to take you out.

He'll huff & he'll puff,
Try to blow you away
But remember this is the time,
To pray,pray,pray.

Pray for yourself,
And for one another
For our prayers are most powerful,
When we lift up a brother.

The Lord says,draw nigh to Me
Resist the devil,and he will flee.
So keep on praying and you will see,
That prayer always works when we agree.

Others

I was one of these people in our streets when I was only seven.Cold,hungry,scared.I know how it feels to have nothing or much.Thank God I had that experience for now I don't have to just pass them & do nothing,now if I can I can help them,but if I haven't got anything to give at that time,I can always pray for them,not just pass them by.

OTHERS

So many people in our streets
Living from day to day
Very few of us give them a thought
We see them but go our way.

We see them on the news
For a moment we shed a tear
Oh,the poor things we say
Then thoughts of them disappear.

Forgetting about them once again
Until the next time they happen our way
We look at them as though contagious
To them we know not what to say.

We are all in this together
For each other we are here
We are all sent for a purpose
So,each others griefs we must bare.

Love Outlives Them All

Leave it alone

This poem was written years ago when I learned even more about what God talks about on prayer.This was an argument between my husband & I.About what,it's not important,I don't remember anyway,which is typical.



LEAVE IT ALONE

I say I am right
They say I am wrong
We must take it to the Judge
Or we will never get along.

Does it really matter
Who's wrong or who's right
Our love for one another
Isn't worth any fight.

Many are leaving
They thought themselves right
They couldn't just give in
So their all alone tonight.

Take it to the Father
He'll settle it on the throne
Then say you are sorry
And leave it alone.
